How to remove the stuck PTO drive shaft on the gearbox?

  1. Tractors with PTO drive shafts tow all types of PTO shaft-driven implements. When the PTO shaft of the implement is engaged with the PTO drive shaft of the tractor, the shaft rotates 1000 times per minute. The PTO shaft provides mechanical operation power for the implementation. The male drive shaft on the tractor has splines that match the female drive shaft on the implement.   5. Unfasten all safety chains that secure the shield on the axle to the tractor. The PTO shaft is now removed.
